Eric K. Schnibbe focuses his practice on complex business litigation and appeals. Mr. Schnibbe has successfully represented clients throughout the Intermountain West. He is experienced in handling complicated matters of business litigation, and has obtained multiple favorable outcomes for clients in appellate courts. For example, Mr. Schnibbe was co-counsel in a jury trial lasting more than five weeks, in which the Jury rendered a unanimous verdict for the clients of over $133 million in a theft of trade secret, breach of Confidentiality Agreement, and breach of fiduciary duty case. The jury verdict was affirmed by the Utah Supreme Court in May 2016.
Mr. Schnibbe is an active member of both the Utah State Bar and the State Bar of Nevada and is a 1998 graduate of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he was an editor for the Utah Law Review. Following graduation, Mr. Schnibbe served two judicial clerkships with the Utah Court of Appeals. He is A/V rated by Martindale Hubble, the highest rating available, and has been voted by his peers in Utah as one of Utah's "Legal Elite" since 2013, as published in Utah Business Magazine. Mr. Schnibbe has been included in the list of Mountain States Super Lawyers (TM) since 2013 and was named in the Rising Stars list published by the same magazine from 2008 through 2012.
